It’s important to not only encourage leadership to recognize employees but to also have employees recognize one another.

• Encourage staff and leadership to recognize employees using Shoutouts.
• During the month of March, you can run a custom Announcement Card* to remind members to post a Shoutout.
• Don’t forget—members could even earn points for both giving and receiving a shoutout.

Promote an Employee Appreciation Event on the Platform

If you're planning a virtual or in-person Employee Appreciation Event, consider including a mix of activities like awards, games, and event wellness sessions. Discover more ideas on the Virgin Pulse blog.

• Once you’ve planned your event, you’re ready to alert members. Post the event to the Calendar. Check out the Calendar Events Admin Guide* to learn how to spread awareness and drive participation. If you're hosting multiple local events, use the segmentation feature to promote by organizational hierarchy.
• Do you have a landing page for your Employee Appreciation Initiative? Take advantage of the personalization engine and add it to your Programs or Benefits page which will promote it as a daily card.

If you don’t have a lot of time to plan, here are a couple of tactics that are quick and easy to run!

• Run a company step challenge and reward the winning team(s) with an extra PTO day.
• Share a special message from leadership or upper management through an employee appreciation video that can be promoted on an Announcement Card.
